How many of us truly understand what makes us do the things that we do? Not many. Most of us will tend to blame something or anyone else when it comes time to accept responsibility for something that we have done. The real question is how many of us look up at Heaven and ask "why did you make me this way if you don't want me to be this way?" Paul is challenging the Jews in the church at Rome by asking them why they want to do things the old way when the old way didn't work? Their response: not my fault, God made me this way!
